For anyone flying into TPA tomorrow or later on to go to Orlando, airport is closed TODAY

Obviously a lot more people are likely to travel to MCO, but I know of some people going to TPA ahead of time before heading to Orlando. Just a heads up that the airport will be shut down today and will affect connecting flights at nearby airports.

Yea, I'm supposedly flying in on Thursday afternoon, but wondering what kind of a disaster area I am flying into. I'm visiting family and friends before and they are telling me to re-schedule my flight to Friday. Not sure what to do here. To many uncertains right now.

Tampa and Orlando should be fine. It's those beach towns that would suffer more.

if you have family\friends in that area suggesting to push it back a day, i would consider doing that....unless you have something planned already for the day they are suggesting you arrive.

We are flying MSY-MIA-MCO on Thursday. Think we should be fine.

Thursday is in the clear. Florida has their stuff together when it comes to hurricanes.
