Jayden is second in the Heisman odds behind the guy who won it last year.

Joe is second in MVP odds behind the guy who won it last year.

Coincidence? No, I think both are going to have special years

What do you mean stop? He literally is #2 in the heisman odds. What did I say that was incorrect?

I didn't say he would come close to Burrow's 2019 year. No one will with the new clock rules anyway

Daniels could win the Heisman and not even touch what Burrow did

I think it's going to be a long time before we see anyone get close to what Joe Burrow did in 2019.

The only thing you said that was incorrect was that it wasn’t a coincidence because that’s all it is. Burrows been to a super bowl and almost won it, he’s also been close to a second super bowl almost winning the AFC title game in back to back seasons. JD hasn’t done anything close to that even in relation to college FB and the field his odds are against is a lot less accomplished. It’s just not a good comparison but it is a cool coincidence.

Stats-wise, sure. Daniels isn’t throwing for 400+ yds in a game.
“Won’t even touch what Burrow did” though?

Realistically, Daniels has a chance to go undefeated, win a heisman, win a natty, & get drafted in the 1st round.

That would be pretty amazing & I’m not expecting that at all, but he does have a chance to do it

If he’s going to be a legit Heisman candidate and not just a sucker bet we need to get more creative in the running game play calling. More designed runs for JD and less scramble plays, more jet sweep, touch pass action, more zone read stuff. If he’s gonna make that leap into Heisman consideration it has to be with his legs because the passing numbers won’t be on the same level as a Caleb Williams or a Drake Maye type passer.

I mean this is a mildly interesting observation, if people didn’t post stuff like this, the board would be dead.

About the only similarities between Burrow and Daniels are their names start with J and they played QB at LSU. That’s about it.

Thanks! I didn't say anywhere nor do I think Daniels will come close to Burrow's year. I just think it is interesting he is 2nd in the heisman odds while Burrow is 2nd in the MVP odds. With both behind guys who won it last year.

Thats not what the post was about

Some of you are dumb AF. College Joe Burrow is not mentioned in the post, nor is there a comparison of JD to JB.
