Maybe if we had a quarterback
With a proven ability to get the ball down field to the wr’s and a coach that call the right plays in the red zone.

Florida may have its problems, but it's still 2 centuries ahead of Louisiana. I don't blame any kid, especially those who only know their immediate circumstances for wanting to get out.

I would say that exactly but that statement is closer to true than false. If a kid wants out of Louisiana, it may show a bit of forward-thinking.
I say that as a guy who will probably never leave the state because my wife wants to be near family, especially her mom and dad as they age.
