I see a mix of Walter Payton and Jim Brown with a side of Barry Sanders. But Fournette? C’mon man.

Jackson reminds me of J.Hill

People forget how incredibly physical Fournette was. Jackson seems to be a good, tough, downhill runner and maybe someday his physicality will compare with Fournette’s, but it’s way too early to even speculate.
Fournette would seek people out, but not just to “finish the play” with a punishing hit. He sought them out because if he destroyed them on his terms before they got into his legs he might just keep going for a TD.
Add to that the fact that his stiff arm was less about warding off tacklers that it was about eliminating them from the play.
Physicality exists on a scale. Fournette is near the top end.

Why you say that? This was Jackson’s first game and the guy showed last Saturday that he could be a stud. Who knows he could possibly be better than Fournette.

He has classic SEC “bell cow “capability. I see the Fournette and the Toefield. He has that quick stutter step Leonard had and he picks up yards by not wasting motion like all the big physical LSU backs did.

The dudes who played for Auburn certainly haven't!

Closer a description to He Who Must Not Be Named than Fournette.

I’m not saying Jackson will be like LF, but LF didn’t look like this in his debut game of his freshman season. Jackson could very well end up looking more similar to LF, but that’s yet to be determined.

I'm still surprised that Moss stayed at A&M this year. Could have transferred anywhere in the country. Now he's sitting at 3rd string behind Amari Daniels and Rueben Owens. Didn't see a single carry in the loss to Miami.

Other than Travis Etienne who got caught up in the Miles to O switch, who should we have recruited that we didn’t?
He was recruited by everyone, and his HS coach told everyone "the kid is waiting on Clemson to call". Clemson was way behind but he committed the day they showed up. He wanted to go to Clemson.

Yeah, too bad we had to settle for some guy named Clyde Edwards-Helaire.

Dude, Fournette was a truck running full speed with no brakes. He was one of those backs that rarely come around with size, speed and incredible strength.

Going to be a really good back. I actually like him as the kick returner. Hopefully there are a few big returns from him this year.
