the kings have really botched the rebuild which is unfortunate and this feels like either the last or 2nd to last playoff gasp but frick it im down. that 2014 run is still my most enjoyable sport team run of all time. only rivaled by the laker 2011 run

2012 was pretty wild, they came in as an 8 seed and just murdered everyone. Plus it was their first cup, even Gretzky couldn't bring that to LA. So I always thought that would be the special one.
I can see how 2014 would be more exciting or suspenseful though. I remember ESPN nutting themselves about the LA vs NY angle, probably the most attention they gave hockey until they got the broadcast rights.

LOL, whoever that color guy is at the Islander-Hurricane game. "If I was an Islander fan I would be impressed at how they have played in the first two games." Yeah, first time in team history they have blown a three goal lead in the playoffs. That is very impressive.
