This game is just as intense on the ice as the last game, yet it feels low energy. Why? This announcing crew. Has the feel of an old 11AM Big Ten game on ESPN between Indiana and Northwestern with Beth Mowins on the call.

Horrible call to make it 4-4 there. Stars clearly should have had a PP instead of the BS we got. My criticism of Otter has surely been noted in this thread and he's shown it in this Gm 1. He might be good. He might be great. But I won't believe he's great until he has his name etched on the Cup. Maybe he got complacent thinking his team was up. Maybe he got complacent thinking his team wouldn't give up the lead. You still gotta keep soft shite or a little traffic from producing goals for the opposition.
