That's actually a good question. I'm from Michigan and have been a Wings fan my entire life. Started playing hockey right when the won the 2 Cups in 97 and 98. Moved to the Tampa area and started following the Bolts as the local team. I call them my adopted team. The Wings and Bolts had 2 great playoff series against each other and they kind of flip flopped with regards to which team was great and which team sucked.

I've rooted for the Wings and worn Wings stuff when I've went to Wings/Bolts games at Amalie. Honestly though, when it has been clear the Wings aren't going to make the playoffs and the Bolts are battling for a better seed in the playoffs, I've rooted for the Bolts... that way the Bolts get a better seed and the Wings have a better chance at a higher draft pick. Kind of a win-win scenario.

It is hard for me to get in hockey mode this time of the year on a CFB Saturday. I didn't really watch the game last night. Just flipped over a few times during commercials of the ND/USC game to check the score.
