Perfect would’ve been to run the ball again on third down and then use the timeout if you don’t score. OR run the FG unit out there on third down, kick the FG and if you bobble the snap, you still had 1 timeout and another down to re-try. BK did it very poorly in my opinion.

The way to play it in a tied game would be to call two plays in the timeout after the first down run. The second-down play would be a run to center the ball and then line up in victory formation for the third down play. Once the game clock passed 40 seconds left, snap the ball and then call time-out with 3-5 seconds left. Kick the ball on fourth down with time running out.

Worst case scenario is that we miss the field goal and we go to overtime.

It was the time out after second down that was a poor decision.
