Boodis works in barely half truths and grey areas and ignores what doesn't fit his view. He's been that way from the outset of this. He's tied himself in knots without realizing. He's nothing more than a source of entertainment at this point.

yeah that is definitely the pro-israeli spin, however i'm pro american and don't believe in letting a foreign country that we are supplying, recklessly drag us into a war.

It’s pro-israel to simply say they should fight their war as they see fit? They’re not dragging us into war if it’s our choice. Is your suggestion Israel controls the US. If so, your pro-US position is effectively pro-Israel

quote:

just because you are getting cash and weapons from the US doesn't mean that you have free range to do whatever you want. international law must be followed which means sufficient humanitarian aid must be allowed in. that's not a 'pr stunt' as you put it...that is the rule.

First, aid should be given knowing what’s possible/will most likely happen. Don’t like it, don’t give it to begin with. What international laws has Israel broken? Then what laws has Hamas broken with their tunnels and rockets underneath hospitals? Israel gave everyone in Gaza a lot of time to gtfo or die. The PR stunt is in ingnorance of this by members of Congress who have supported terroristic causes prior to begin with. Their entire effort is misaligned to the American public.

quote:

having a pause to allow more aid in for gazans is also another reason for iran/hezbollah and others not to get involved. if the israelis had their way, the entire gaza strip would be razed and its population pushed into the sinai, which of course everyone in this thread excluding myself would be hooting and hollering with glee for. that obviously, would have lead to iran getting involved and possibly egypt, turkey, etc and now we are on the cusp of WW3.

bullshite and I wouldn’t give them one fricking thing. If the current admin had a hair on its nutsack it would stop this minimal response to attacks on American troops and swing American dick one good time to all of them and it would stop, as we saw with Trump as CIC.

quote:

so no, letting israel and their far right extremist government do as they please is not an option and i'm glad that the good ol USA agrees with my assessment.

Biden and a minority of crazies agree, not the majority of the USA.

Don’t understand why you guys keep feeding the troll. Hell have a couple of dozen down votes, completely nullified his own argument and still claims to have won the arguement handily. What more do you need to know to ignore him?

I haven't checked out this thread in a while. So is everybody on board now with Americans fighting this war?

The only way I could see us getting involved is if it broke out in a broader regional conflict (ie. Iran actually got involved). Right now it looks like Hezbollah is too scared to do anymore than pop off a few rockets or ATGMs. So I have no clue what the hell you are talking about.

One thing that has really impressed me is that the IDF has only taken like 35 KIAs in Gaza. Thought that would be in the hundreds by now.

Yeah I thought it would be higher too. Either Hamas has a bunch of guys that lost their nerve since their targets started shooting back, or the methodical approach that the IDF has taken so far is helping them not take as many casualties. Someone itt pointed out a while back the strategy they've employed building up the big berms using the huge armored dozers. Kind of like a rolling defense as they push up. I think that is the way to do it and keep most of your people relatively safe.

I guess when you have to go fight with your unruly neighbors down every few years, you start to perfect your tactics. Lord knows they've had plenty of practice over the years.

All we hear about is Hamas, but are all the other militias (ie: AQB) currently fighting the IDF in unison while working together with each other.

And can someone link a good live stream from Gaza.

Likely a combination of both coupled with the Haji’s taking some significant casualties due to indirect fire/CAS.
