What were his stats again? I want to say he ran for like 200+ twice?

He was a force. Went to the 1997 Vandy game he got hurt. One week later LSU beats #1 UF.

Look, I’m not saying Collins should be shunned for life, nor am I saying I agree with LSU’s ban of Guice, but why are the two treated differently?

Because back then there was a lot of tolerance for men mistreating women as long as they didn’t hurt them or rape them. Fortunately, that has largely gone away.

They put Collins in a cage for 12 years for being a terrible human being. He was arrested twice in one off season at LSU, violated his probation while at McNeese the following season, and was then arrested again for a felony during his first season in Miami. This all happened in a period of less than 2 years. Collins was nothing but trouble his entire adult life before he was locked up

Exactly, Collins paid his debt to society and now seems to have made recompense with the university and the public as a whole. Guice on the other hand is still a piece of shite doing hood rat shite with his friends in the city

he wore a red velvet baret as he walked into the door of the bar where I was working in Tigerland

He went out partying after a loss!? Fire DiNardo, he’s lost control of the team.

That performance bs Auburn in 97 was just unbelievable. If you didn’t see it you can’t appreciate it.

IMO, he's the most talented and naturally gifted runner that has ever played at LSU. He could have made millions in the NFL, but he had to learn the hard way that he wasn't above the law!

Guice is a lot younger than Collins was when he was released. He didn’t have the opportunity to be a “hood rat with his friends in the city” at Guice’s age. Collins serving almost the entirety of a 15 year sentence before he was paroled speaks to what kind of inmate he was.

He could have been one of LSU's best. Was at the game at Vandy in '97 when he broke his ankle. Faulk was in the same backfield.
