Hopefully he does not crawfish. I would guess the soonest it could happen is when the legislature reconvenes.

Hopefully the Legislature does not crawfish. It's easy to go all in for something for political expediency when you know the Governor will veto it.

Get your concealed carry permit anyway. Just because you have permit-less carry in Louisiana as a LA resident, does not mean you have the same privilege in other states you may travel to.

Like nobody is carrying that wants to carry a firearm? CC makes the bottom of the list for problems in Louisiana. Let’s see if he can attract industry to the state for starters, and retain a competent, educated workforce.

Yep, they kill two birds with one stone. The gooooooobernor protects the interests of the sheriffs with his veto while the Legislature says, "We tried."
However, I do believe the goooooooooooooooobernor is very cognizant of why he got elected.

For the record … Louisiana is surrounded by CC states.
It’s wild CC isn’t already LA law.

It has become a fiscal issue , just like inspection stickers, ain’t no way politicians are going to get rid of a revenue stream, won’t happen
