I had the same question and just looked it up last week.Another stupid relic from Covid.
I do have to say, I own a 4Runner, and there is a pretty high dipshit factor with a lot of 4R owners, although not as ghey as the duck thing.
Mainly with the ‘Overlanding’ crew. They have massively oversized tires that require body work, and so much shite bolted to them, racks, gas cans, Wench, rooftop tents, matttrax, refrigerators, etc, etc….on such a woefully underpowered vehicle, they have to be miserable to drive. Especially on the East Coast where you would be hard pressed to be out of range of a gas station.
I can overland with an Rtic cooler and a tent in the back. Mudtrax could come in useful I suppose, and they don’t weigh much.

My wife currently has a 4 door also. She wanted a 3" lift and 35" tires. The thing drives like a kite. It takes every bit of my attention to keep it in the lanes when there is even a slight breeze. I refuse to drive it but she loves it and doesn't want anything else. It's paid off so what more can I ask for than a woman happy with something.

I've driven 3 CJ's,an 86 Wrangler, 2008 Wrangler and 2013 Wrangler. Today i see chicks that look like dudes driving 4 door Jeeps 
thank God I'm not a part of that chit anymore. I do miss offroading and sharp turns.

I’m on my 3rd 2 door jeep wrangler since 98. Had a 4 door somewhere in there but it just didn’t feel like a jeep. Anyway I don’t get caught up in the duck stuff or the cult thing. I just always liked a Jeep Wrangler. Well I came out of the store yesterday and I had a damn duck on my door handle. I threw it inside and head home. Texted the fam that I got ducked for the first time and I feel weird about it. My wife (no pics) texted me, you think it was laced with fentanyl? I was like damn I do now!! From now on anytime I see a duck on my Jeep I’m going to hit it with my foot like when i flush at a urinal. I did notice a 4 door jeep parked next to me before I left.

I blame it on the 4drs and automatic transmissions Wranglers. They are driver by soccer moms, lesbians with bad haircuts and tat guys with bad haircuts. It’s a weird cult of people with really bad taste. Not just a dashboard covered in ducks, but they add every possible trinket imaginable. The worst is the angry headlights grill replacement.
