It really sucks that if we had a half way decent defense we more than likely win it all this year. This offense is unreal. What a bummer.

It's really hard to believe how historically bad they are.

It’s the second best offense in college football in the past 20 years

ESPN’s offensive efficiency ranking dates back to 2005

LSU 2019 leads the way at 97.2
At second is LSU 2023 at 97.1

we have wasted many great defenses on terrible offenses through the years as well.

Did you get this mad in 2016 when we wasted the 3rd best defense in LSU History?

Matt House has cost LSU a playoff berth and possible national championship, Brian Kelly the opportunity to prove he can win big games and a championship, probably cost Daniels a Heisman and numerous recruits who won’t come here to be on a dumpster fire defense. Hope it was worth it to keep him, Kelly. That’s a hell of a price to pay.

They try to blame it on a down year for defensive talent. Possibly true, in part, but our talent isn’t behind Grambling & GA State, and we still couldn’t stop those teams.

It’s scheme. It’s always been scheme. Very very poor scheme. And bad talent utilization.

Why are you commenting on the 2019 offense. We didn’t waste it.

Now this year’s offense (the best) we’ve squandered.

Not a waste. I've enjoyed it immensely. How many defenses did Cholly Mac waste with sub-par offense?

Not sure how any person could downvote this thread.

What a shame
