Care to share why you think Texas a&m got Ryan Day?

It’s not Ryan Day.

Despite with Aggies think, Ohio State is a better job and he has everything he needs

A random sports site doesn’t qualify as a legit source

I’m not saying it’s him, but you are mistaken in your analysis of Ohio State.

Why don’t you provide some context to your remark.

How so?

Ohio State might be the best job in the country. A&M is...well, A&M.

Yeah if I were "ranking" college coaching jobs I would place Ohio State #1. I think the Day stuff is nonsense but the reasoning I guess is that Ohio State would let him go (or not engage in any sort of negotiation) if he lost to Michigan again. I don't think any rational A&M fan thinks we would actually be "taking" him away.

That would be foolish, in my opinion.

Day has been with the program since 2017. We've had three wins over those assholes in his time here. Outside of those wins, there's the TCUN Covid forfeit and two questionable *losses.

The dude has played for a national championship, is a missed field goal away from winning one, and is 55-*6.

If John Cooper got 13 years, we can give Day a little more time.

Lol, OSU is the best job in the country. Only way Ryan Day leaves is if he is told to hit the road

Typical Aggie delusion.

A&M is nowhere near tOSU as a job. And I despise tOSU.

Let’s see, be in a top 2 program almost guaranteed a playoff spot by winning one game a year in a hotbed of talent with no other major competition close to your level, or A&M that is third tier now in its own state to UT and OU.

I don’t think you are grasping what is s being said. No one thinks A&M is a better job than Ohio St in a vacuum. However, if Day loses to Michigan for a third year in a row he may decide to get out while the getting is good. You’re going to get a better job leaving on your own than after having been fired. It’s basically a bigger version of when Holgerson left WVU for UH before UH was accepted to the Big XII. Was UG a better job? Absolutely not but his seat was heating up at WVU and UH offered him a good contract. It effectively turned into a mutual parting of ways.

I can not say that losing to Michigan three years in a row is enough pressure on Day to go elsewhere, nor do I know if A&M is a big enough fish to leave for. If he gets fired next year is he likely to find a better job? Maybe, maybe not.
