Just 85 year old mother and I so lunch was queso chili dip and tortilla rounds. Had a can of orange cinnamon rolls for breakfast since Mom really likes them and it’s her 85th b’day today. Will have turkey sandwiches later.

Happy Thanksgiving, bee holes!

If you’re fortunate enough to be surrounded by loved ones on this, the day that teenage Jesus accidentally ran over a turkey in his souped up Integra, be truly grateful.

What are you eating?

Fried oysters. They were caught yesterday and my friend shucked them for me. One gallon unwashed.

That is what makes them so good. The natural liquor grabs the corn meal and you don’t need egg wash.

At my age they say I’m not supposed to eat raw oysters. I eat all that I can. If I don’t fry them. I eat them raw while I’m frying.

One year I ate at least 30 half sacks mostly by myself. I kept a 120 quart ice chest where it could drain and kept it full of oysters on ice. Had fresh food always n the back of the truck.

I just called my friend and asked him to catch a few more sacks of those good salty oysters for me.

Iwei. I haven't had fried oysters in a long time. My family used to do them like that with no eggwash when I was a kid.

I haven't eaten yet but she was complaining when I only came home with one pizza that it wouldn't be enough for both of us. She's on a roll today

I have a question-

Is there a Reese’s PBC Thanksgiving edition shaped candy?

We have Halloween, Christmas and Easter- but is there no love for T-day?

Rude.
