Majority of the gaming board regulars are probably in their 30's or 40's by now. minimal new blood and all us old fricks don't game like we used to. Such is life.

The Minecraft server we had going for a little while was a blast too. I remember myself and a few other people exploring and finding a bad arse cave so we all took up residence there. We called it the Bat Cave. I forget the guy’s name on here but he had some pictures he took of it and posted

I was such a an immature arse at times back then. A lot of anger and frustration with my lack of college success, and video games was my way of coping with it.

The link from OP reminded me of our NCAA online dynasties. I looked into what it would take for me to play NCAA Football again and ended up getting College Football Revamped working on my PC and streaming it to my Steam Deck. Those online dynasties made some of my best gaming memories so thanks for the memories to anyone I used to play with.

I was in Afghanistan that year and reading the gaming board threads made my days go by so much easier.
