For the first time since I don't know when the meteorologist on WDSU got it right.. He said that we would have heavy rain for the commute in the morning.. The skies opened up about 15 minutes ago (6:30am) in Metairie..

The top part went out this year, so I went out to the garage to get the box of extra Christmas lights. I hooked up a string to the tree in place of the burned out one. Hell, you probably could do the whole tree that way.

Sooooo, crawfish prices are expected to come down now?

Asking for a friend that purchases his seafood with Louisiana Purchase card and watches what he spends.

Yep....

El Nino conditions... Dry and hot in the summer, cold and wet in the winter...

Amazing people don't get that.

Absolutely not. Earlier in the week there was not enough rain. Now, unfortunately, there's too much. Prices going up more because two problems.

Enjoy it, frick

I mean, I don't like when it rains, but we kind of need some rain. It's been a while.

Problem is even if it rains hard for one day, the city floods because it is a shite hole.
