.. Bama should have lost to a lowly Auburn team.. they pulled the biggest golden horseshoe out their arse on a desperate last pass TD.. so you see, it goes both ways…

Argument should be between fsu and Bama, not Bama and Texas. That’s an easy decision

FSU is undefeated with a killer defense and won their championship with their third tier QB.

It’s down to FSU and Bama. Texas is in.

I think they have to reward FSU with a spot as an undefeated Power 5 champion. I realize it’s unarguable that Bama would win vs. FSU with their current QB situation, but the results on the field this season have to matter.

Bama just happened to pick an en extremely unlikely season to lose a non-conference game to Texas.

So glad we’re expanding to 12 next year that will eventually become 16 teams.

AU should have beat Bama
USF & Ark were close games too

If you say their conference is weak then you are not looking at each P5 conference the same and that is bias

And they went 2-0 in the SEC which included beating the shite out of LSU like no other SEC team did. And LSU finished the regular season ranked #13.

They also won at Florida with the backup QB. It's not a very good UF team, but we all know how rivalry games can go when the game is all that one team has left.

Sir, if Bama gets in along with Texas, that will be a rematch for the national championship. Those are the two best teams if it worked out to set up with both getting in. I just wish our tigers had a damn defense

Bama almost lost to AU and would have lost but for the rushed no review catch.

Discussion should:

Michigan
Wash
UGA (29-1, defending two time nat champ and only lost in SEC by 3 points thanks to plenty of Bama bias (and a missed FG that hit the upright).
Texas

If all games matter then why doesn’t Texas’s loss to OK matter? Who has the worse loss in this scenario? AL or Texas?

Head to head is a first criteria.
For the other person screaming about Bama, FSU won their conference undefeated. There is no argument past that point

If head to head doesn’t matter, you might as well throw Georgia back into the mix bc they had the “best lost”.

Texas loss at home to Oklahoma at and they loss to Kansas and Ok State.
Bama loss by double digits at home
Georgia loss by 3 on a neutral field to a top team.

For the record, I love this chaos and was happy it happened. The SEC isn’t down like people think. But I think they get left out of the playoffs.

0% chance UGA gets in after losing the conference championship. Not with 5 other conference champions with 1 loss or less.

Georgia would trump Bama and Texas. Don’t say, but Alabama beat Georgia. Georgia is best team, period.

It’s like 2011 all over again. Go figure, it revolves around the same dumb arse team.

Tell us you haven't watched FSU's defense play without saying you haven't watched FSU's defense play.

Go back to the Bama board.
You know damn well that ball popped out/aided by the ground at the 1:46 mark of the second. That lead to 7 points instead of UGA with the ball and a chance to get at least a FG. That was a huge non-call.

BAMA IS NOT GETTING INTO THE PLAYOFFS.

FSU isn't out because of the injury, they are out because they played a far inferior schedule to Bama. What is their record if they play Texas, Georgia, and Ole Miss? Bama has more quality wins.

In addition, injuries are part of the cfp committee criteria.

And Bama should have lost to horrible Auburn without one dropped punt. It works both ways.
