Yes, but, why this has surprised and upset so many people is a mystery to me.

Once the mythical CFB Champion was decided by a 4-team playoff, it was obvious to me that a 1-loss or undefeated Alabama would always be in that tournament, even if some 13-0 team was left out to let Bama in.

All now irrelevant. There's a 12 team playoff now, and a 3-loss Alabama will always be in that tournament, which means that Bama will be in every single year because Bama never finishes the regular season with 3 losses.

I remember some sports commentators saying back before the FSU Florida game that FSU would have to blow out Florida in order to secure their playoff spot. FSU did not blow out Florida and here we are, they were right.

Maybe people are upset that Bama gets special treatment, but, as long as Saban is at Bama, that's how it's going to be. CFB loves Nick Saban because he's the best CFB coach since Fielding Yost.

But what they did to those players is absolute horrid. Telling them to kick rocks because their teammate had the audacity to get hurt? Absolute joke.

If Jordan Travis gets hurt 10 minutes left in the ACC championship, they still go. 100%. Same scenario, different results.

Agreed. My question, if the 'committee' wanted to claim that FSU was a 'different team' after Travis got hurt, then why did they """""""""K.E.E.P.""""""""" them at #4 in """THEIR""" rankings ??????? FSU was STILL #4 in their rankings BEFORE last Saturday and going into last Saturday's title games. Two other teams in their 'Top 4' won their games, and MOVED UP 1. FSU ALSO won their game.........and FELLLLL ??????? And worse, their pre-Saturday #4 ranking in the 'committee's CFP rankings meant NOTHING, as they vaulted a team who was number """""""""""""""" E.I.G.H.T."""""""""""""" going into last Saturday's games - FOUR SPOTS ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? WTF does that even mean ??????????????????????????

If they're saying that #8 ala. SOARED FOUR SPOTS from #8 to #4 BECAUSE they beat the #1 team, then why did they drop the "#1" team to number SIXXXXXXXXXXXXXX ?????????+
