Bawcomville is a former mill town for the paper mill. It used to be an all poor whites that lived there. Now it is about as racial diverse as any town in Louisiana but they are all poor.

The Robertsons are miles from there. You could be in North Monroe from Bawcomville quicker than you could be at the Robertson’s house.

A lot of the people in that parade are there solely to make fun of the poor people of that area. Some of the poorer people revel in it but they don’t understand what that parade is.

Is there some thought by CNN that biden cares more about poor people than Trump would?

The last 60 years have shown us that democrats want poor people to stay poor but keep voting for them.

Phil Robertson (Duck Commander) lives just down the river a piece from Bawcomville. Being a good Christian man, Phil does his part for the Great Commission, and goes to different places spreading the Gospel. After years of trying he finally gave up on saving the folks of B-ville. His comment on it was something to the effect of "Even the Good Lord can't help those people".

I have a good buddy who works in west Monroe, his boss has 3 clocks on his wall.

1 Eastern Time
1 Central Time
1 Bawcomville Time - that clock goes backwards

Just as BR had concentric areas of nice, trashy, nice, etc Bawcomville has a lot of trashy areas intermixed with newer stuff.

We used to study at the Waffle House in West Monroe while I was at NLU. It was fascinating seeing not only the late shift and the people that would come in. Met a lot of folks from Bawcomville. Felt sorry for a bunch of them.

Hopefully someone will post a YT home video!

I have footage from 2022 Bawcomville parade but it’s unedited.
It’s not footage from a Black Magic camera, but not too bad.

I figured a fat dork such as yourself would have more of a clue about the area you live in. You should get out more

I’ve had several teachers tell me they would rather teach at Richwood than bawcomville. Said the parents at B were mostly meth heads and couldn’t care less about their children.

Although economic metrics show that’s true – unemployment is at a historic low, low-income paychecks are bigger, inflation is falling – public opinion polls show that a majority of people still think the economy is bad.

Just have to love how CNN throws this bs in here. Like dint believe what you are seeing or living through. Believe what we are telling you.

I don't understand what you think in this quote is untrue (BS, to use your term) nor how it is either Biden friendly or unfriendly.
Those are all facts.
What they do not say is that purchasing power for wage earning, blue collar Americans is static or eroding. Which has been a fact since Reagan and trickle down economics became part of the lexicon.

They really think the average person is stupid. Unemployment seems low in analysis because discouraged workers (ie, those who quit looking) are dropped from the metrics, among other tricks to artificially lower the actual numbers.

Low-income paychecks being bigger (whether through raising the wage floor (ie, increased state or local minimum wage) or just to get anyone to work) causes prices to rise. For example, when a landlord pays $300 for groceries that used to be $100, he's going to raise the rent on his tenants. Their wage increase then goes out the window and they're right back at or worse off than they were before. I guess it sounds good at the surface level as a talking point, though.

"Inflation is falling" sounds like deflation to the average person. This is not the case. The rate at which inflation is increasing is slowing. It's still increasing, just not as quickly as it was. To call this "falling" is disingenuous at best.

“That’s a big fat lie,” Toni Boler, a parade spectator, told CNN of analysts who said Americans just didn’t understand that the economy is actually better.

She's right. The analysts who have a vested interest in making Bidenomics look good are activists. We understand perfectly that they're full of shite.
