On this topic, did Burrow "only" win two more awards than Jayden, the Manning and Maxwell? Or are there some others that are less prominent.
Awards only Burrow won: Manning, Maxwell, Lombardi, CFP NC offensive MVP.
Burrow won the Lombardi Award during a four-year stretch when they expanded their eligibility criteria, but, now, offensive backfield players are no longer considered for the award. Washington's Michael Penix won the Maxwell Award but Daniels could still win the Manning Award. He is one of 10 finalists for the Manning, which is announced after the bowls. Half of the 10 finalists have opted out of bowl games for various reasons.

In addition, Burrow was a unanimous all-American while Daniels was a consensus all-American.
