His mother was from Rodessa, Louisiana in northern Caddo Parish. One O.J. movie I saw years ago claimed he was “conceived“ in Rodessa. That’s a level of reporting granularity often missing in today’s journalism.

His mother's parents were from Louisiana. His father was literally a gay drag queen from San Francisco (NTTAWWT) who died of AIDS in the 80s.

OJ’s father was a member of a San Francisco drag troupe and wasn’t much involved in his son’s life. He died of AIDS.
