I always was of the opinion that paying players would be the death knell of college sports. Long before NIL, many thought that unionizing or paying players as 'employees' of the schools would sink athletics because Title IX would force all women's sports to be paid the same as football, basketball, etc...
Never would I have imagined that MEN would be given scholarships set aside for women, and we'd be told it was a wonderful thing.

Sounds like UW wants to win and is unintentionally admitting that women aren’t as athletic as men. I don’t see a problem.
