"If we see LSU's Heisman-winning QB Jayden Daniels and star receiver Malik Nabors on the field, expect it to be brief. Nabors is just 21 yards short of LSU's record for career receiving yards, currently held by Josh Reed. Nabors (and maybe Daniels) could suit up just long enough to get the record before moving on to the NFL"

Did they spell Nabers wrong in the article or was that just you?

No, I won’t. I’m not going to expect a baller to make 2 catches in the first quarter and then go sit on the sideline for the rest of the game as if he’s content

Tell me with a straight face that Nabers didn’t thoroughly enjoy dragging his nuts on Purdue last year

Why can't folks correctly spell Malik's last name?

I’d completely understand both sitting. But man that would be sweet to see them play until the record is broken.

Did the article spell his name wrong as well? It’s amazing the season and career that Josh Reed had considering the passing game even under Rohan wasn’t going to be as prolific as today’s game. Nabers wouldn’t be close to the record if not for a dumb technicality that during Reeds day, they don’t include bowl game statistics.

I think they are just speculating, like everybody else.

I forgot who was talking about this, but a great point was made. Is a player really going to go through all the pregame stress and anxiety, warmups, etc. just to play a few downs?

Why would Daniels play? Couldn’t Nuss just throw to Nabers?

Daniels doesn’t need to play, I am sure Nuss can throw him a ball for 21 yards
