When you spend high draft picks on elite skill position talent and then proceed not to use them in favor of 30 yo free agents, you might have a shitty franchise and an idiot coach

We have a winner. Hire the son of the founder of Fed Ex, to be your head coach? That entire family is full of business killing morons, besides the old man.

It makes no sense, Allgeier doubled Robinson in carries. I know Robinson had a fumble but it’s not like this is the first game that he saw limited action

Plot twist: That "elite" skill talent turned out to be nowhere near as good as they hoped it would, particularly Pitts. He doesn't run very crisp routes and it is much, much harder to just out-athlete people in the NFL than it was at Florida. When you were picked #4 in the draft, the coach shouldn't have to scheme you open. You should get open because you're just better than the man across from you. Pitts struggles with this. IMO, route running is the #1 trait to look for in a receiver coming out of college to the NFL, and Pitts's routes are lazy and sloppy. He is also an awful, awful blocker on plays where they line him up as a traditional TE.

London is solid. He's not a gamebreaker like you'd want from the #8 pick in the draft, but he's perfectly fine.

Drafting a RB in the top 10 is stupid no matter who it is. The talent of the RB means absolutely nothing if the scheme and OL are shite.
