My wife will not watched animated shows or shows with subtitles. We have watched Dark but the dubbed version. Saw Wednesday, I watched squid game, Travelers, season 1 of Russian Doll, Witcher, Altered Carbon, and a ton more I’m forgetting. Horror will work also. Seen all the Flanigan stuff.

Normal Drama I’ve seen all the most popular ones with the most recent being Severance.

The expanse

On prime. The first season was on Syfy, but the budget really increases in the later seasons.

Second The Expanse.

Altered Carbon on Netflix was decent.

Station Eleven on Max is incredible. Highly, highly recommend it.

In From the Cold (Netflix)
Living with Yourself (Netflix)
Counterpart (Prime)
Night Sky (Prime)
Outer Range (Prime)
Lovecraft Country (Max)

I watched Travelers

Continuum is another Canadian sci-fi show but unfortunately it's not on any subscription service right now.

try the original Battlestar Galactica (1978)

or the updated remake from 2004

both are great and will keep you entertained all night, but i didnt think 2004 remake was better then the 1978 original

Citadel, Night Agent, bodyguard, Mare of Easttown, Gilded Age, Big Little Lies, Undoing, the Recruit. Terminal List, Jack Ryan, Obliterated

I think that sticks to your streaming services.

If you are saying “I want syfy/fantasy and not animated,” my apologies for misinterpreting.

Shadow and Bone, Carnival Row, House of Dragon, Last of Us, Wheel of Time (meh, but fine) Locke and Key, Sandman, Lost in Space.

None of those are wholesale endorsements. Just mostly enjoyable “turn your brain off shows.”

Altered Carbon

Damn. That is a memory holed show for me. Loved season 1 but season 2 was brutal to get through and i just didn’t care at the end. I say that as a dude that loves Anthony Mackie in everything he does.

It’s a bit teeny (old CW series), but I thought The 100 was very creative and excellent.
