So many of our societal problems stem from this culture's failure to come to terms with the military defeats it suffered hundreds of years ago on the other side of the planet.

Your ancestors lost. Deal with it in some positive way. Synthesize a new culture that's compatible with the mores of the developed world. Driving around making noise, shooting each other, littering, etc. may feel good, but these activities don't address the real issue: YOUR people's own military defeat, which was YOUR ANCESTORS' fault.
