I'm not a religious person myself, but I appreciate when young men like Nuss are, and are respectful. To me it shows they were raised right, and putting your faith in something higher can be a really big motivator

Nuss is the man!

It's sensational that he was able to engineer a game winning 98 yard touchdown drive and equally a relief that the defense was able to not allow Wisconsin to respond with a touchdown.

Too much God stuff. Give it a rest, once is enough.

Every freaking athlete interview I see mentions God 20 times, enough already.

Dude is a warrior.

Never once pouted on sidelines like other former 2nd strings guys did bc lack of PT.

Always was involved and rooting his fellow teammates
Balled out in the bowl game

Has great attitude has waited his turn.
I expect big things from GNuss.

I’m all aboard the bus.

I wish 90% of the fan base would like him because he played well, but I guess whatever it takes. I knew he’d win over all his doubters with thanking God an unnecessary amount of times.

So I’ve just browsed this steaming pile of shite of a thread and it didn’t last a single page before it turned into a lunatic ideological mud slinging contest. It was about how well Nuss came across. If his faith is part of why he is so grounded, you don’t have to shite on that. You have to be a kid to do that. That’s all I can say. It’s just an immediate tell when it comes to your intelligence and maturity and I’m not a religious person.
I dont know how Nuss is going to do but I really like how knowledgeably he is about the offense and I really like that he seems to be embraced by the team. He has a coaches demeanor. I like that he has chosen to stay at a place and compete. I like how supportive he was of JD during a heisman run.
It would be great to show that you can wait and learn and experience all of it when it’s your turn. Winning with Nuss would be great for LSU if it can happen organically
