Jesus Christ. How does that happen? I feel like at 16 that you would be able to get out of almost any fire situation inside a house. Terrible news

You can get out of the house if it doesn’t occur when you are sleeping or overcome by toxic fumes

Most people who die in fires have succumbed to smoke inhalation long before they are burned.

Probably smoke inhalation. Can catch you while asleep or cant find your way our if you are at zero visibility

There was not an explosion, my bad. The bottom rusted out of a wood burning stove while the kids were asleep. The survivors escaped through the window and the deceased was sleeping closest to the stove.

Extremely toxic fumes can knock you out during a fire…..walls and roofs can collapse. House fires are really chaotic
