This is not an endorsement of giving aid to Ukraine, but GOD I'm tired of people saying stuff like this.
We've sent $75 billion to Ukraine.
We spend over $1.5 Trillion on Social Security EVERY YEAR.
A trillion is 1,000 times more than a billion.
That means that every year we spend many times more on Social Security than we've spent on Ukraine.
It's literally like carrying a $10,000 a month mortgage and complaining that you're going broke because your wife buys name brand peanut canned groceries instead of the generic grocery store brand.
It so dumb it offends me.

75 Billion is 1/20th of 1.5 trillion.
I don't think the difference between premium and generic brand peanut butter products is 500 (1/20th of 10,000 mortgage) fricking dollars.
You're as idiotic as the people you're trying to criticize.

It’s just the most recent thing we’ve wasted money on.
And I think most people agree by now.
SS is a diff issue. No one on it currently is saying, yeah let’s cut back, it’s a waste if money.
