A boycott? By boycotting something it would have to affect their business. It's already the 2nd week of January. Peacock is a monthly subscription. They already have their subscribers money for the month.

The NFL already has Peacocks money through the deal the business deal they made.

If you aren't a subscriber then you can't really boycott something you've never paid for or watched now can you?

So it's really not a "boycott". You simply won't be watching and you're not affecting their bottom dollar either way.

So you don’t think Peacock or their parent company is expecting to gain subscribers when this game airs?

And do you not think the subscription service model is based off of gaining subscribers for limited amounts of media, and keeping them for longer than the time it takes them to consume it?

Has peacock already billed their advertisers based on current subscription numbers? Or projected based on typical playoff ratings?

Well that just sounds stupid. They will absolutely take note if u cancel your subscription. It's paid up this month, yeah, but they are much more worried about next month's take. Like wise if u subscribe today they will absolutely use that to decide if they will continue to stream games exclusively on certain platforms. Not to mention that any show that has commercials gets paid for EACH VIEWER that views those commercials. So ur wrong, and that's OK! But hers an idea. Maybe, if u don't know what ur talking about, u shouldn't post things that may misinform people using this site for real answers.

Advertising revenue is based on ratings…. Lower ratings does affect their bottom dollar ultimately
