Washington didn't show up, and a lot of that had to do with Penix.
The players are going to wonder what happened when they wake up today. It was like they just didn't swing the bat when they were at the plate.
It looked like a program that wasn't ready for the stage. And, without Penix making everyone believe, there really wasn't anything else.

not that the scenarios are the exact same, but they probably felt like the 2006-2007 OSU team. woke up and thought, "wtf happened last night?"
