You completely missed the point. Even if it comes out of the refrigerator, that bottle was almost certainly hot at some point.

That depends on your definition of hot. Water bottles could be bottled in the North in winter and be on shelves before Spring.

And it is accretive. Stored in hot storage once is better than twice. It is better for you to not drink out of plastic water bottles that have been sitting in your car in Louisiana Summers, regardless of where that water bottle has been before.

And these variables, along with your prior rebuttal, are why I said she was "sort of" correct.
