2025 OM Baseball

Starting Pitchers:
Hunter Elliott (Sr)
Mason Nichols (Sr)
Riley Maddox (Sr)
Liam Doyle (Jr)
Xavier Reynas (Jr) -- Questionable

Bullpen:
Ryne Rodriguez (Jr)
Austin Simmons (So)
Josh Mallitz (Sr)
Brayden Jones (Jr)
Grayson Saunier (Jr)

That's a solid, veteran staff, not including any transfers or any young pitchers developing such as JT Quinn or Gunnar Dennis (both of whom were starters at the beginning of the season). Wes Mendes and Hudson Calhoun are freshmen who should develop and at least get significant innings from the bullpen.

We cannot be worse on offense than we are now. But I don't see us being significantly better. We lose Jackson Ross and Ethan Lege which will be hard to replace. And we are horrible in the field and that will continue to haunt us next year.

And we are desperate for a catcher.

So I see us as improved next year (NEXT YEAR!!!) But we will have to pick up some bats in the portal. Pitching should be a drastic improvement.

Couldn’t care less until Bianco is gone.
Another shite season where we aren’t even competing for a super regional. Haven’t hosted a super regional since 2009. We are getting excited about being a bubble team?

Since Godwin took that 2014 team to Omaha:
Ole Miss has been to 3 super regionals while ECU has been to 4 super regionals with a 5th on the way.

It’s a no brainer who our new coach should be.

Hunter Elliot hasn't pitched in over 2 years. He may be phenomenal or he may be completely different.

Plus, our hitting sucks.
