something just feels off about Jos's so called statement, only one outlet has reported on it and not much is being made of it kinda like that paper in Netherlands said Horner was gone before testing

I mean, it was on the headline list on ESPN app main page

Max should switch to his original number like seven time WDC Sir Lewis Hamilton did - it's the classy move...

Headline I saw this morning was that Jos was not going to be at the next race. Seems to add fuel to that fire.

Also saw that George called out Hamilton for not really having a different setup for race pace vs Quali pace like he said he had.

More drama!

Let's say Max retires tlat end of this season w/ another championship(making it 4 straight), where would he be in the pantheon of F1 drivers?

Top 3
Top 10
Top 20

Top 10

Like I mentioned earlier in the thread, lets say RB continues next season on the tear they are on (no reason to think they wont until regs change), Max could have 5 championships and 90+ wins already.

Thats insane.

I'd put him top 4 after the end of this season. Hamilton, Max, Schumacher, Senna

Easily top 10, probably top 5, top 3 would be an argument.

It's really hard to judge because of the times. Has there ever been a car that was as far ahead of the field as RB19 was? How much of his dominance last was him versus the car?

I think he's a solid top 3 all time and could prove himself as the goat in the next year or two.

The 1998 McLaren duo lapped 3rd place in the first race of that season.

Another Newey engineering marvel

mp4/4 won 15/16 races. Mercedes a few years back were close.

With the dominance of the car you have to look at how close their teammates are. And Max makes Checo look like Latifi most races

Given that Checo isn't completely dominating, that seems to suggest a large part of it is Max's driving.

Also, I wasn't following but from what I gather that Mercedes with Hamilton/Hulkenberg is an example of a true dominant car.

Which really makes you wonder why RB didn't just use that scandal to get rid of him. Seems weird.

I can't see a world where Jos is this vocal if Max does NOT agree with him. So if Max wants Horner gone, then tell Max if he signs an extension, you'll dump Horner.
