Why does everyone have to have ties to Louisiana? I think Frank, Bo and Brad have that covered.
If Saban hired him there is something there.

He's barely has coaching experience. He's a good recruiter because he coached under saban. He has no ties to Louisiana.
Solid recruiting ties in Georgia, Alabama and Florida would be a plus to add to our coaching/recruiting staff, don't you think?
Cannot get too Louisiana-centric, we will still need to recruit OOS players to cover the holes in the Louisiana talent pool in any given recruiting cycle. Louisiana talent will always be the foundation of the class supplemented by OOS. Having a solid recruiting presence in Houston Metroples, DFW Metroplex, Georgia, Alabama, both North and South Florida and the lower eastern seaboard is the best way to put together an effective recruiting staff.
