Are you saying Alabama does not think DeBoer is a great coach?

I'm saying they absolutely do think it. But that doesn't make it true. They also thought Mike Shula, Price, and Franchione were great coaches when they hired them, among others, who turned out to be garbage.

Yeah sure. He could fail.

I’m just saying Alabama is not going to sit back and watch an Auburn happen. And I absolutely do not think recruiting is going to plummet. Drop yes. But they are 100% going to invest millions to get players. Make no mistake. I hate it, but it’s true.

This shows how much Saban has skewed things. There never was and never will be another hire like that.

Shula was all that was an available after Price had to be let go, in the late spring I don’t think think anyone would thought wow great hire. Price did an amazing job at Washington St we’ll never know what he could have done since he was fired for off field issues before coaching a game. Fran took over a 3-8 team with probation issues and went 7-5, 10-3 including beat down of Saban in TS before leaving, he was garbage at A&M but he no knows what would have happened if he stayed at Bama.

Blanked LSU, and Nick Saban, 31-0 in Baton Rouge.

He left because we went on probation. Looking back it was a terrible decision for him.

Worked out in the end for us.
