My advice: go to a jewelry store and pick out the size and style you want to buy and then shop around. Know what you want and stick to it.

I used Adiamor and got a GIA certified diamond that was of better quality for much less than what the jeweler wanted. (-6k)

Make sure you are certain of ring size if you go this way. I had to ship hers off because the ring was a little big and I couldn’t find anyone in town who wanted to touch it. Took two weeks and came back perfect though.

Third, get the insurance. Especially if you have all of the tiny diamonds. I am fortunate that I haven’t had to replace anything but I know that time is coming.
