Nick Saban not only had the recruit players, but he learned to find quality coaches to replace the ones who got hired away every year. He retired and the new coach took over in two days. No doubt, this was all planned, and Saban participated in this process. I’m not deluded, Alabama will be the Alabama that we’ve come to know moving forward.

Alabama may coast for a couple years in an almost auto-pilot condition. But I do not think that they’ll continue to be the Alabama we’ve come to know in perpetuity. Hell, they weren’t the Alabama we’ve come to know the past few years. They got passed up.
