Any Donovan Kaufman news?

Entered the portal from Auburn a couple of days ago and news has been radio silent. I assume LSU may have contacted early but every side seems to be playing the wait and see game.

Wasn’t he more of a Nickel at Auburn? I’m not saying he wouldn’t start here, but we probably need to save spots for Corner and DT.

We should be all over the 2 Arizona All Conference CBs in the portal. Both projected draft picks next year and both 6’3

Why are we discussing portal guys - let it go until spring. We are over the limit and not going after portal kids.
The longer nothing develops with portal of the exact ones they may be looking at; means other items are pretty solid of who they are going to bring in.
In my opinion, no portal guys are needed right now until the spring. LSU is over the scholarship limit of 85 and will have more attrition in the spring.
THe only two out of the 17 that in my opinion only stings is Lance Heard and Logan Diggs. WIth that said, how bad is Logan Diggs hurt?

Georgia currently has 89 scholarship players and they’re still being somewhat aggressive with taking top talent in the portal. Most blue bloods are over the limit. It’s a new era of CFB. You take whoever makes you better immediately and then sort it out before camp.

I don’t see what’s wrong with discussing positions to address in the portal and potential targets. Both are significant positions of need to address and I believe NCAA still only enforced the 85 rule when training camp starts.

85 is for all times, but yall realize a bunch of dudes on yalls 89 scholarship list don’t report until Summer/fall?
As in 15 members or so of the freshman class who aren’t early enrollees.
The ones that don’t enroll early don’t count until they actually enroll. It ain’t Rocket science
