Can't do that when you wake up with a hard on. Also can't hit the toilet since pressure is variable, meaning judging the changing launch angle/distance from toilet while half asleep can be tough.
Turn shower on, piss down drain. Back to bed to either put it to use or sleep it off.

Can't believe men do this. I just found this out and I'm a little shocked I have a couple of friends who do this.
