Maybe. I'm at least driving my vehicle and it's not 30 thousand feet in the air
How about this

I point a gun at you that has 4/6 bullets in the revolver

I point another gun at you that has 1/6 bullets in the revolver

You have to chose which guns trigger I pull. Which one you taking?

Sure. Even while you drive your own car you have a far greater chance of dying than flying

Except the odds are 1 in 107 vs. 1 in 11 million, so it's even more dramatic of a comparison

Problem with society. If thousands of assholes can get paid by the government to sit on their arse, why should the working class work harder to subsidize them?

Covid gave many people the taste of UBI.

They liked it, so they will not want to work as much. The unemployment during 2020 was pathetic, rewarded people for not working.

Man, I am 100% committed to NOT flying anymore unless for some kind of emergency i can't foresee. Had a trip planned to Orlando with airfare, and nowwwwwwwww i'm gonna be driving after all these absurd changes.

Enjoy your long drive next to people that might be on drugs, drunk, mental health issues, too old, etc.

WTF is happening

Starting in 2020, we shut down the economy and supply chains for bullshite, fired a bunch of skilled people for not taking a mandatory experimental shot, and went turbo mode on diversity hiring without regard to competence. Also a generation of younger people raised on social media with zero attention span and a real hatred for the basic concept of work and attention to detail.

Hence the "competency crisis."

Cool. I know flying is safer for the public. I also probably mitigate a ton of the risk driving because I'm good at it, I'm very aware of other drivers, and I don't drink and drive.

Headed to south asia next month. Boeing all the way. It could be me.

Ironically, way more open seats on these flights than their normally are two weeks out.

So you’d rather get on the interstate next to cars that haven’t had maintenance in 10 years and are being driven by alcoholics and drug users?

Lol, this guy thinks that pilots aren't alcoholics and drug addicts.

I’ve always had anxiety towards flying, but this wave of issues with Boeing planes has completely pushed me away from flying. The only time I’ll fly is if a family member passed.
