I went to the event which is held every year. He spoke about the respect he has for NAIA coaches, as well as, all the other coaches around Southeast Louisiana including the high school coaches, some of which were in attendance. He said he didn’t really understand Louisiana baseball until he got here. The passion that we have for baseball down here is the best in the country, as is the talent. He spoke about the mindset that every game is a playoff game that he instills in his team. He really didn’t get into position by position. Just saying that getting the team focused on the task at hand and developing the mindset is important. Pretty impressive guy.

CJJ just seems to say and do everything right. Hopefully he doesn’t burn out anytime soon..the man never stops.

I'm sure he's gunning for at least 6 titles to be able to say he topped the best
