Even asking this question shows you aren’t the right person for the job.
If you have to bring up someone else’s issues to make you look good, you don’t look good. Highlight the positives you have done for the company and why you think you would be a good leader and example for the company.
Nobody knows how to interview anymore. Provide specific examples to the questions asked and give details about the situation, you impact, and the results. At the end, tie it all together as to why these examples make you the candidate for the job.
