When with a 2 guard soon as I realized I was wearing a hat 95% of my life to hide the crown thinning. About 24 years old. Went shorter and shorter on guard as it got worse. About last year at 37 started with a razor and now hitting it every 2-3 days. I hate wearing hats and bald people who constantly wear hats show insecurity to everyone (my opinion). There’s no fighting it. If Lebron James struggles with the money he has, no hope for the regular folk. Been married 15 years so being attractable on the open market is not a concern. Confidence in whatever u got going on ontop your dome is key.

My husband's started on his crown and the hairless crown is growing. (I cut his hair) His combover isn't ridiculous, but it's longer than the rest of his hair. And his hair there has changed texture with time and is both sparser and thinner.
He will never be able to shave his head totally, because he was in several accidents and has some hellish long scars on his head. Currently hidden by hair. And kinder to the rest of the world who would be grossed out by the length and irregularity of the scars.
