LSU wanted him when Kelly came his first year and Bama hired him the next
When two P5 elite SEC schools want you before you turn 40, by definition that makes you a young hot shot coordinator
I’m no fan of Rees by any means but if those two programs and coach wanted him, you can safely assume there is a large number of other schools that would have done the same if they had the ability to get him to even think of leaving his Alma mater
