Well how do you judge that but by the only metric that counts wins vs loses?

i thought it was a simple question

did he hire any good coaches while he was there?

him being a bad HC coach is a known thing, we have a good sample of that

but i dont know if he hired bad coaches there.

were his coaching staff hires there just all bad coaches from the start.

just wondering if he did a decent job hiring coaches or not.

even good coaches can fail without having the right players to run their plays. so im trying to give the benefit of doubt hiring these coaches now.

i dont think this is ML that is doing the coaching hires, i think ML is giving DA a chance to pick his new staff

if no one knows his reputation on hires thats fine, it was a while back after all.

It may be a simple question, but it's also one that I doubt anyone on this board could ever know. How involved was DA in the decision making process for his coaching staff? The Davis' have been known to intervene in a lot of the decisions and want input/control. How much of that is because of the way Al ran the team and is being projected onto Mark, and how much of that did Mark carry over when he became owner in 2011 (DA was Mark's 1st head coach hire)?
