I have to deal with….lets just say….not the best our society has to offer on a daily basis. There always seems to be an uptick in crazy around the full moon. I don’t pay much attention to the phases, but if I’m having an extra crazy day I’ll check the current phase and it seems like nine times out of ten it’s the day before, day of, or day after the full moon.

Are you an emergency room physician or nurse?

My brother worked in the ER Big Charity. He swore that there was an increase patient volume and general craziness.

I think this comment describes the phenomenon pretty succinctly. People just notice it occasionally and our brain turns the correlation into causation.
