This fricking sucks for sure. But if you look at the broader scope, it's indicative of a larger problem from the nil and recruiting perspective in college. It's just gonna be more common for college coaches to take less money for the work load of the NFL compared to college

Is it? There’s only a limited number of slots in the NFL and the vast majority are filled with career NFL guys.
Many elite college coaches are elite due to recruiting abilities, which is a meaningless skill in the NFL.
So, the desire might be there for lots of college coaches to jump to the NFL, but few will have the opportunity.
