Then everyone should just hold back their kids and everyone would be 19 as seniors

It’s a joke, and college coaches are going to measure you against players your own age anyway. It doesn’t fool them

If John Pearson develops & matures any more he’s going to be collecting social security

frick Pearson is 19 and 5 months right now

So they have three kids on their team that did or will turn 19 beginning of senior year

Pearson is a great example. He has been committed forever. If not held back so his high school program could benefit, he would have spent the last year developing at lsu

How has this been “good for the kid”?

I always thought the “WM HOLDS KIds back!!” was a lie. Their fans denied it and called it butthurt and I kinda believed them

With these recruiting services now it’s easy to see. I truly didn’t really think they were playing multiple 19 year olds

Yea but 7’s thinks it’s a life hack that he gets to play against 15yr old Jordin griffin in the state finals

Let’s wait to see if they lose another state championship before judging if it was worth it.

Between “let’s make everyone 19” and “I like my team talking trash and being cocky” we need to step back here guys

I talk a lot of shite to Lester and Rummel and high school sports but truly who cares. It “should” all be a joke. It’s freaking high school sport

West Monroe definitely programs it, there is too much of a pattern. I understand 1 random old kid but grade by grade they always have kids 1 grade older than they should be

Even John Curtis stopped doing that, at least until the next generations of their big family come of age.

Question for the travel ball dad and west Monroe fan

If the LHSAA lifted the age rule, would y’all be in favor of making 20 year old seniors? 21? I mean y’all have said there are no negatives and people shouldn’t care

So non sarcastically if the rule wasn’t there is there no cutoff in your minds where it gets weird?

Obviously the parents disagree with you. One kid gets held back, his friends want to get held back too. You’re also taking a very rare situation and trying to use it to fuel your entire bullshite argument. You think the kids parents knew he would be this good in 5th grade? It’s absolutely retarded to make the argument you’re trying to make but I’ve seen your posts before so I’m not too surprised

West Monroe holds back and Barbe recruits Houston and all other areas. Let’s see who has the best team Saturday.

Like I said, I’m at my kids’ graduation...From West Monroe. Didn’t hold them back, entering college as sophomores, 33 college credits.

3 out of how many? If it’s as widespread as you and Lester claim that’s still a very, very small percentage of the holdbacks at West Monroe
